Professional, confidential, and affordable counseling services for individuals and families provided at my office. Therapy can improve relationships, reduce conflict, alleviate depression and anxiety, manage stress, heal emotional pain and distress, and promote personal growth. I specialize in working with families experiencing low fertility, postpartum adjustment, families with young children, child behavior problems, teen pregnancy, families with children with special needs, and attachment parenting. I use a variety of approaches including; Solution Focused Therapy, Coaching, Bowen Systems Theory, Cognitive-Behavioral, and Attachment Parenting to nurture change and development within families.

PARENT CONSULTING AND COACHING SESSIONS

Professional, confidential, and affordable consulting and coaching sessions conveniently offered by phone, or if you prefer at my office. Even the most conscientious parents sometimes need a little support and be exposed to new ideas. I will coach you to set and reach goals related to your parenting and family relationships. Unlike the experience of reading parenting books or applying advice given by well intentioned friends and family, parent coaching is based on a sound psychological foundation and is custom tailored to your family's needs.

Coaching will help you:

1. Clarify the underlying principles that guide your parenting
2. Meet everyday challenges with confidence and effectiveness
3. Identify your personal strengths
4. Find balance in your life

Note: Coaching sessions are not appropriate for families in crisis with severe conflict or behavioral problems. Coaching sessions do not involve the diagnosis and treatment of mental disorders. In such cases, therapy would be appropriate. See therapy services above.

POST PARTUM COUNSELING

Feeling overwhelmed? Having difficulty calming your baby? Confused about conflicting advice from books, family, and friends? Experiencing the baby blues? If you say yes to any of these, then Post Partum Counseling can help you.

Post Partum Counseling is designed to promote attachment with your child and prevent post partum depression for mothers of infants under one year old. House calls are available.

Parenting seminars are offered on many topics including:

5. Surviving the stress of parenting

FEES

Usual and Customary Fees
Diagnostic Interview (50 minutes): $95
Office Visits (50 minutes): $65
House calls (50 minutes): $80
Phone Sessions (50 minutes): $65
Introductory phone session for new clients (up to 30 minutes): Free.

1. Office visit fees are due at the start of the session. Phone sessions are paid on the day of the scheduled phone session in advance via Paypal.
2. I accept cash (exact change), checks, and credit card payments via Paypal.
3. Any cancellations that are less than 24 hours prior to the session will be billed a $20 cancellation fee.
4. Phone calls between scheduled appointments, initiated by the client, over 5 minutes in duration, are billed on a pro rata basis.
5.  I choose not to be a provider for any insurance health plans.
6. Upon request, I can provide you with a receipt that you may be able to submit for reimbursement to your insurance company and/or health care spending account, depending on your benefits. If you have and would like to use out of network benefits please check your benefits and discuss with me. Check with your plan for details.
